V. The "four free and one care" policy is available in every province.

Can I get benefits for AIDS?

I specialize in HIV prevention and treatment at the CDC, and I'll give a strong answer!

The clear answer is that AIDS can be subsidized, and the country has implemented a four-free, one-care policy for AIDS.

What is the "4 Free, 1 Care" policy?

The policies introduced by the State to better combat AIDS are described below:

(1) The State implements free voluntary counseling and testing for AIDS;

(2) Free antiretroviral treatment for AIDS patients among farmers and economically disadvantaged urban residents;

(3) Free schooling for orphans of AIDS patients;

(4) Implementation of free AIDS counseling, screening and antiretroviral medication for pregnant women;

(5) Include AIDS patients and their families living in difficult circumstances in the scope of government assistance.

How do I apply for a grant?

The matter is administered by the local governmental AIDS prevention and control office (the Aids Prevention Office, also called the Aids Prevention Office). Since in some places it is the responsibility of the street office, in others it is put to the Red Cross, and in others it is at the CDC, it is necessary to call and consult directly with that office before submitting an application according to their requirements. Some places may apply specifically at the local Civil Affairs Bureau, and if you need to apply you can go to the local CDC for specific advice.

Hello. The current national policy on assistance for AIDS patients is mainly based on the "four exemptions and one care"! At present, the State's assistance to AIDS patients is mainly reflected in the policy of "four exemptions and one care", but the regulations on assistance to AIDS patients vary from place to place, so you can refer to the introductions of other respondents.

The treatment of AIDS patients is completely free of charge, but can AIDS patients receive subsidies? The question can be asked in another way: Can AIDS patients receive low income?

According to the relevant state regulations, with the confirmed diagnosis report and ID card, AIDS patients can obtain an application form for low-income insurance at the local CDC or the AIDS Prevention Office, and apply for low-income insurance at the local civil affairs department. In order to protect the patient's privacy, the entire process should not involve a third party organization. If you are applying for low income insurance, please go to the local CDC or Civil Affairs Bureau for consultation.

It is possible. AIDS patients are a protected group in China. With the slowing down of the disease, China's efforts to prevent and control AIDS have been increasing, the mortality rate of AIDS has been well controlled, and most of the antiretroviral drugs used for AIDS are reimbursed through medical insurance. Moreover, AIDS patients can receive certain free treatment.

I think it depends on the situation. Firstly, if the AIDS infection is caused by one's own indiscretion and one knows the harmful effects of AIDS but still engages in promiscuous polygamy, the responsibility should be borne by oneself; secondly, if it is due to an accidental operation of the hospital which leads to the infection of AIDS in the hospital, then the hospital should be partially subsidized, and the hospital should bear the responsibility accordingly; thirdly, if it is a case of mother-to-child transmission, the baby is innocent and should be subsidized; fourthly, for areas which are too poor to have a deep understanding of AIDS, it is reasonable to receive subsidies. Third, if the infection is transmitted from mother to child, the baby is innocent and should receive the subsidy; fourth, for areas that are too poor and do not have a deep understanding of AIDS, it is reasonable to receive the subsidy.

Can ah, after diagnosis, the CDC has a report on the results, in accordance with the procedures can receive the appropriate subsidies, but also can receive free treatment drugs for life, included in the local AIDS management will be regular blood checks ''CD4 cells Oh, timely understanding of the situation for treatment

The number of people diagnosed with AIDS in China has exceeded one million, and the number of people currently infected has surpassed the ten million mark, and continues to grow each year.

State subsidies for AIDS range from 50 to 100, with relative disparities in each local policy, and each year the Government allocates funds to local CDCs or hospitals, and for villagers with AIDS, the Government pays them monthly in cash, partly in the form of AIDS subsidies and partly in the form of subsidies for low income.
